Commercial kitchens
Commercial kitchen ventilation and equipment in Yakima
Ventilation and equipment for commercial kitchens, from restaurant exhaust to campus, hospital, brewery and winery installations.
Chapter 01
Kitchen ventilation that keeps smoke moving
A working kitchen makes smoke, steam and heat all service long, and the smoke has to be pushed out of the room. When the ventilation system is failing, it lingers: over the cook line, out in the dining room, in everyone's clothes by the end of a shift.
Paul's AIR FX designs and installs a commercial kitchen ventilation system for the space it is going into, not a stock package. The layout of the line, the equipment working on it and the route the air takes out of the building all shape what the system has to do.
Exhaust runs are sheet-metal and fan work, the same trade the crew practices on ductwork and in mechanical rooms. A kitchen gets the benefit of that experience from the first drawing.

The equipment the crew installs
Ventilation is half of a kitchen. The crew also installs the equipment itself. The list runs: Commercial ovens; Commercial refrigeration; Pizza ovens; Food storage spaces and equipment; Stainless steel countertops and other accessories; Warming equipment.
Putting the equipment and the ventilation under one contractor means the oven that gives off the heat and the fan that removes it get planned together, instead of being matched up after the fact.
Chapter 03
Campus, hospital, restaurant, brewery and winery kitchens
Different kitchens, same problem: heat, smoke and equipment that has to fit the room.
Paul's AIR FX works in four settings. Campus kitchen modernization for churches, schools and other facilities. Hospital kitchen upgrades. Commercial restaurant kitchen installations. Brewery & winery equipment installation, in a valley known for its wineries and its hops.
The Tri-Cities, Kittitas County and Yakima all have kitchens that are older than the code they were built to, and kitchens that are brand new. The crew works on both.
Handling the kitchen project start to finish
A kitchen project has a lot of trades waiting on each other. Paul's AIR FX takes the ventilation and the equipment installation as one job, so the owner is not coordinating a fan contractor, an oven installer and a refrigeration company.
Ed H had a dual exhaust fan system put into his restaurant, and this is what he wrote on their site: “Installed a dual exhaust fan system in my restaurant, the employees were professional and courteous. Thanks”
Paul's AIR FX holds Washington construction contractor license PAULSAF851UU and electrical contractor license PAULSAF851DU (HVAC and refrigeration specialty), both active with the Washington Department of Labor and Industries.
